Catalogue name:
ASKAP point source catalogue of the Small Magellanic Cloud field

Description:
This catalogue contains radio point sources detected in the field of the
Small Magellanic Cloud (SMC) from ASKAP observations. The catalogue
provides source positions, flux density measurements, and fitted source
parameters obtained through Gaussian fitting. Source detection and
parameter estimation were performed using the Aegean source-finding
software.

File format:
ASCII, space-separated

Columns:
(1) Name
    IAU J2000 source name derived from right ascension and declination

(2) island
    Island identifier assigned by the source finder

(3) source
    Source identifier within the island

(4) background
    Estimated local background level

(5) local_rms
    Local RMS noise at the source position

(6) ra_str
    Right Ascension (J2000) as a formatted string (HH:MM:SS)

(7) dec_str
    Declination (J2000) as a formatted string (±DD:MM:SS)

(8) ra
    Right Ascension (J2000) in degrees

(9) err_ra
    Uncertainty in right ascension (degrees)

(10) dec
     Declination (J2000) in degrees

(11) err_dec
     Uncertainty in declination (degrees)

(12) peak_flux
     Peak flux density (mJy beam^-1)

(13) err_peak_flux
     Uncertainty in peak flux density (mJy beam^-1)

(14) int_flux
     Integrated flux density (mJy)

(15) int_flux_fixed (mJy)
     Corrected integrated flux density (mJy); for unresolved sources,
     the integrated flux density is set equal to the peak flux density when
     the measured integrated flux density was lower than the peak value.

(16) err_int_flux
     Uncertainty in integrated flux density (mJy)

(17) a
     Deconvolved major axis of the fitted Gaussian (arcsec)

(18) err_a
     Uncertainty in the deconvolved major axis (arcsec)

(19) b
     Deconvolved minor axis of the fitted Gaussian (arcsec)

(20) err_b
     Uncertainty in the deconvolved minor axis (arcsec)

(21) pa
     Position angle of the major axis (degrees east of north)

(22) err_pa
     Uncertainty in the position angle (degrees)

(23) flags
     Source flags assigned by the source finder

(24) residual_mean
     Mean residual value after source fitting

(25) residual_std
     Standard deviation of residuals after source fitting

(26) uuid
     Unique source identifier

(27) psf_a
     Major axis of the point spread function (arcsec)

(28) psf_b
     Minor axis of the point spread function (arcsec)

(29) psf_pa
     Position angle of the point spread function (degrees)

(30) major_axis_ratio
     Ratio of fitted major axis to PSF major axis (a / psf_a)

(31) minor_axis_ratio
     Ratio of fitted minor axis to PSF minor axis (b / psf_b)
