Biography

Milica Vučetić was born in 1985 in Belgrade. She finished primary and secondary school in Valjevo. She obtained Ph.D. in astrophysics from the University of Belgrade in 2017 (thesis). She is employeed as Assistant Research Professor at the Faculty of Mathematics, University of Belgrade. She also works as a high school teacher of astronomy for pupils talented for physics. Her main research interests are: optical detection of supernova remnants and HII regions, influence of optical SNRs on Hα derived star formation rates, evolution of supernova remnants. She is a member of the Society of Astronomers of Serbia the International Astronomical Union (IAU). She is member of Serbian NAEC team.
